Craniosacral Therapy

What is craniosacral therapy?

Craniosacral therapy (CST) is used to release fascial restrictions throughout the body via specific gentle palpation. Fascia is one, long membranous tissue that is connected from the head to the feet. Through specific, detailed palpation at the head or other locations on the body, those fascial restrictions can be released. After a treatment, the patient can expect to feel more relaxed and in a parasympathetic state also known as our rest/digest state, rather than a sympathetic state of fight/flight.

Some of the conditions that benefit from CST:

·  Traumatic brain injuries/concussions/CTE

·  Mental health: anxiety, depression, C-PTSD, etc.

·  Sports injury

·  Sleep disturbance & insomnia

·  Neurodivergence

·  Migraines & headaches

·  Temporomandibular Joint Syndrome (TMJ)
